Payment Options
Bills will be calculated the first working day of the month, with statements mailed on the following working day. The due date will be printed on the bill, which is generally the 15th of each month. Payment must be received in our office on or before the due date and no PENALTY will be charged.
Credit Cards
We accept Master Card, VISA or Debit Cards, if you desire to pay by credit card contact the office.
Automatic Payment
H-D Electric Cooperative now offers our members the Automatic Payment Plan. You can have your payment made automatically from your checking or savings account. The Automatic Payment Plan will help you in several ways:

Budget Billing
To help control fluctuating monthly bills, the cooperative offers a budget billing plan. This convenient service is based on your past 12 month's usage. Periodic reviews are conducted to insure that payments are adequate to cover usage and costs. These reviews also reduce the possibility of a large debit or credit balance.

If you do not want to use one of our time and money saving payment methods you can mail or drop off your payment at our office.

Late Payment
Late Penalties - $15.00 (for anything postmarked or received after the due date printed on your monthly statement).
If our linemen are required to call at your place for the purpose of collection or disconnect, a fee in the amount of $30.00 plus tax in addition to the electric bill will be collected or the service will be disconnected. In all instances, if a member has been disconnected for non-payment of the electric energy bill, the member will be required to make a deposit before restoration of service. The deposit will be equal to two times the average bill of the preceding twelve months or $100.00, whichever is greater.
